Joseph de Perio is an associate attorney with Gross Shuman.  Mr. de Perio concentrates his practice in the areas of Business and Corporate Law and Real Estate and Development. He advises clients on a wide range of matters in both practice areas, working to craft and execute transactions that meet each client's unique needs in the most efficient and effective ways possible.  His experience includes: 

Business & Corporate Law

  • Working with his clients to develop Corporate Governance documents, including bylaws and board resolutions
  • Forming and dissolving corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs) and partnerships for clients across a wide range of industries
  • Crafting operating agreements for LLCs tailored to the specific needs and business goals of each client, ensuring that their interests are protected

 

Real Estate and Development

  • Managing real estate closings, both commercial and residential. Mr. de Perio's commercial matters run the gamut from small business owners to multimillion dollar deals.
  • Overseeing title examination
  • Preparing applications on behalf of developers seeking to build a subdivision
     

Prior to joining Gross Shuman, Mr. de Perio began his legal career in Albany as an associate of The West Firm PLLC. Most recently, he served as associate counsel for a privately-owned global corporation.
