 Real Estate Paralegal 

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Job description:

Gross Shuman is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This position will primarily support attorneys specializing in real estate matters. If you excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and have a proven ability to efficiently manage cases, we would be pleased to connect with you.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and organize real estate documents such as contracts, deeds, mortgages and closing packages
  • Manage the entire closing process, including title and survey review, lien searches, and escrow coordination
  • Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel ensure smooth transaction progress
  • Maintain accurate case files and track deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of residential real estate matters

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of real estate paralegal or closing experience, preferably in a law firm or title company
  • Strong knowledge of real estate documents, title review, and closing procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn legal software quickly

Gross Shuman P.C. is growing, and we’re seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys
  • Prepare, proofread, and send legal documents
  • Maintain case calendars and track deadlines
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
  • File court documents electronically and maintain both digital and physical files with obsessive precision
  • Manage attorney calendars and schedule appointments
  • Transcribe documents using digital dictation equipment
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general administrative tasks
  • Copy, scan, mail or arrange delivery of legal correspondence
  • Prepare and distribute client invoices and process account expenses
  • Keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes
     

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal assistant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology tools

Compensation and Benefits: (Salary range: $55,000-$65,000 annually)
