Key Responsibilities:

Job Description:
The Trusts & Estates Paralegal provides support in all aspects of estate planning, estate administration, and trust management. The paralegal works closely with attorneys to prepare documents, manage deadlines, communicate with clients and financial institutions, and ensure compliance with court and tax filing requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare Surrogate’s Court e‑filings
- Handle estate accountings and estate tax returns
- Prepare fiduciary income tax returns
- Communicate directly with clients regarding estate administration matters
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Strong computer proficiency

- Draft pleadings and discovery responses.
- Organize and maintain case files (physical and electronic) from intake to resolution
- Create medical record chronologies and create medical record notebooks
- Manage document productions and prepare summaries
- Assist with deposition preparation, trial binders, and exhibits
- Coordinate filings, subpoenas, and service of process
- Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel
- Maintain case calendars and deadlines
- Support attorneys at hearings, depositions, and trials
- Handle medical record requests, lien coordination, and AAA filings
