Kathy also helps clients strategically take advantage of estate and income tax planning opportunities. This includes advising clients on, and preparing:

  • Credit Shelter Trusts

  • Charitable Trusts

Kathy is also admitted to practice law in Florida, and she works with many of our New York clients who either split their time between New York and Florida, or are looking to retire to Florida and need to make the transition in the most tax-advantageous way possible. She consults with those clients on the nuances of the process to change the domicile and residency.

In addition, Kathy also assists clients with the administration of both New York and Florida estates, working closely with the estate fiduciary to seamlessly execute all legal obligations related to the estate of the decedent.
