Sarah P. Rera is an experienced litigation attorney who focuses her practice in areas of personal injury and business litigation. She has served as trial counsel in multiple complex business disputes and personal injury claims in New York State Supreme Court, receiving numerous successful verdicts for her clients. She is also an experienced appellate practitioner and has appeared before the Appellate Division and the New York Court of Appeals, the highest Court in New York.
Sarah also serves as the Administrative Attorney for Gross Shuman. In this role, she helps shape and guide the overall direction of the firm. She also manages our summer clerk program, leads attorney and staff hiring initiatives, oversees our Human Resources matters and serves as the attorney liaison to the staff, including the IT, marketing, paralegal and secretarial groups.
Sarah is also active in the community. She coaches the Frontier High School Mock Trial team and serves on the Board of the Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a Director of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and serves as Education Director of the Charles S. Desmond Inn of Court. She is active in the Erie County and New York Bar Associations and is a former adjunct professor at Bryant and Stratton College, where she taught civil litigation.
