Employees were asked to submit a survey answering a broad range of questions covering topics such as job satifsfaction, feeling empowered on the job, engagement with management, salary and benefits, and other intangibles that make an organization a great place to work.
Gross Shuman scored an average of 93 on its completed surveys, three points higher than the average of all companies in its category.
Since first reaching the Best Places to Work finals in 2021, Gross Shuman has continued to evolve its approach to increasing employee engagment and satisfaction. In 2022, the firm expanded its paid holiday schedule, adding several new holidays.
Firm management also implemented a dramatic benefit aimed at improving the work-life balance of its staff. All staff operate on a scheule that gives them every other Friday off with full pay. The adapted schedule was implemented in November 2022 and is just the latest way the firm is working to support its employees.
